Rays of Hope Card

Have you ever tried stamping with water and Distress Inks? It's such a great technique, and the Rays of Hope Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp from Red Rubber Designs is the perfect stamp for it!

Just grab your blending tool and apply Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet Distress Inks onto white cardstock in a half circular motion.  Then just spray your stamp with water, and press down.

The sentiment was stamped in black with the Say Hello Unmounted Rubber Stamp.

Then I distressed my edges, adding another layer colored with inks, and outlined the stamping with some hand-stitching.

     Thanks for looking!

Inking Fun

Hello, Friends!  Today I am sharing creations with the Happily Grateful stamp set from Red Rubber Designs.  I really enjoy experimenting with this set.

Using the MISTI so that I could stamp the images multiple times, I stamped the leaves with Limon ink, then using a rubber glove I picked up ink in Pea Pod and touched the edges of leaves and part of the stems.  For the flowers, I stamped them first with Aqua and then touched the edges of the flowers with Indigo.
The set includes a small circle stamp which I stamped in poppy.
The sentiment is from the Joyful Notes stamp set.

I had so much fun with this set that I tried an, even more, CAS (clean and simple) card.  I simply used Carrot and stamped twice for a rich color then moved the paper and stamped off for a softer look.  I once again used a rubber glove and picked up ink from Mud Pie ink and touched the tip of the leaves.
The sentiment is from Sophisticated Sentiments.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
