Inspirational #222 - Baby (anything to do with babies)!

Deadline for submitting your projects is Wednesday, June 3 at 11:59 PM US Central time.

This week's theme, Baby, will be easy for you.  Create anything that has to do with babies.  Remember that you must use a stamped image on your project and we'd love to have you write up a little something about your stamping.

For complete Inspirational Rules, please read them here.

Here is my project based on our theme this week. I think you can probably tell that I'm thinking of a baby girl!  My niece is due with a girl next month and she was my inspiration for this theme.

Are you an inspiration?

Inspirational #221: Shape Up

Welcome to Red Rubber Inspirationals!

We are excited to bring you a weekly challenge that will focus on stamping and related techniques to inspire and enable you to create art!

Inspirational #221 - Shape Up

Deadline for submitting your projects is Wednesday, May 27th at 11:59 PM US Central time.

Drea here with a new Inspirational for you! This week's theme is Shape Up, so let's use any stamp that has a shape (circle, oval, square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon, heart, diamond, etc.) Please let us know in your blog post what shape you've used and where. For complete Inspirational Rules, please read them here

Here are my projects based on our theme this week:

I tried the bokeh effect for the first time on this card that I made from white cardstock. On the background I used Distress Inks and a circle stencil with some white ink. The smallest circles were stamped using the Background Soup stamp set. Then I used Circles Of Love to emboss the silver dots, and for the buttons, which I popped up and added some silver brads to. I used black ink to stamp the Tree Silhouettes, and finished it up with some hand-stitching.

On this next card, I also used the Background Soup stamp with some yellow paint to make the circles. I  stamped the flourish and butterfly using Butterfly Flourish.  The butterfly was colored with Distress Inks and a coat of Yellow Stickles, which gave the wings a natural curl. Unfortunately my sentiment got a little smudged onto the stickers that I stamped, but rather than trying to stamp over it again, I decided to leave it alone to go with the shabby distressing of this card. I used Sophisticated Sentiments to stamp "Happy", and Contemporary Greetings to stamp "Mother's Day". I finished it off with some more Stickles for the flower centers, which are stickers, along with the stamped flowers on the flourish stamp.

I hope you are inspired by my Inspirational this week and link up a newly created project to this post by the deadline! We look forward to seeing what you create!!

Inspirational #219 - Give Thanks

Deadline for submitting your projects is Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:59 PM US Central time.

This is Lynda hosting this week's Inspirational!  Our theme this week is all about Giving Thanks!

I want to see you use your stamps to create a project Giving Thanks.  Could be a thank you to someone for an act of kindness, or a thank you for a gift.  As long as there is stamping.

For complete Inspirational Rules, please read them here.

Here are my projects based on our theme this week:

I stamped the flowers from the Floral Collage stamp set onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Caring Cards 1 set onto scrap cardstock.  Both were backed onto colored cardstock and then added to the card fronts.

Barb created this amazing project using Japanese Thank You:

Drea created this wonderful project using stamps from All Things of Nature, So splattered, and Savvy Sayings:
