Happy 2016!! I thought I'd ring in the new year with a new technique, and had a blast making my very first shaker card!
I also got to play with my new sprays misted with water onto white cardstock. Then I used white embossing powder with the So Splattered, Speckle Background, and Sophisticated Sentiments stamps from Red Rubber Designs! The pewter swirls were embossed with the Butterfly Flourish stamp, and the rest were hand-stitched with metallic threads.

The flower was a leftover that I sprayed, adding gesso and glitter to the ends. I also used gesso and glitter on the ends of the background paper, and over the felt circle frame, which holds the glitter and a couple of snow covered hills that I made. For even more sparkle, I used Stickles over the chipboard heart and grey card base.
Many thanks for looking!
