Inspirational #122: Way to Go, Graduate!

Welcome to Red Rubber Inspirationals!
We are excited to bring you a weekly challenge that will focus on stamping and related techniques to inspire and enable you to create art!

Inspirational #122 Way to go, Graduate!

Deadline for submitting your projects is Wednesday, June 4th at 11:59 PM US Central time.

Please join us in welcoming our guest host: Paula-Kay Bourland is a long-time stamper and cardmaker and excels in coloring with Copic markers. She brings us our timely Inspirational this week!

This is Paula-Kay Guest hosting this week's Inspirational!  This week we are celebrating our graduates, all ages!  We hope you will join in with a graduation creation.  Just be sure to use at least one stamp on your project.
For complete Inspirational Rules, please read them here.

Here are my projects I created to honor a graduate:

The Congrats sentiment and frame around it are from the Label Lingo Showers, and Label Lingo Frames stamp sets.  The rose is from Charcoal Flowers Cling Mount Rubber Stamp Set .  I cut a square from black cardstock for the graduation cap and added a black brad and bookmark tassel to it.  The stars are punched out with a star punch.  The background blue card is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  Inks I used are Memento Tuxedo Black and Palette Prussian Blue.  I colored the rose with Copic markers (R24, R29, R89, YG93, YG95, YG97)

Look at the cute graduation card Kendra has created using the Savvy Savings and Build a Background Stamp Sets.

I hope you are inspired by my Inspirational this week and link up a newly created project to this post by the deadline!  We look forward to seeing what you create!!

Are you an inspiration?

Inspiration Projects - After each Inspirational, the Inspiration Team will choose three projects from those submitted via the link-up tool below which we think best reflect the theme of the Inspirational.

Each artist whose project is chosen receives a special Inspiration Badge they can display on their blog - and we'll showcase these projects each Monday following the end of the Inspirational!
