Welcome back Stampers! With some mixed media and stamps from Red Rubber Designs, I created this tag and background page, and used up a lot of my old embellishments and stickers in the process. After coating a kraft tag with white gesso, I added a strip of gingham stamped with Abandoned Coral and Ripe Persimmon Distress Inks onto white cardstock using the Gingham Background Unmounted Rubber Stamp. Then I hand-stitched the top, and placed the photo below it, framed with some fibers.
Because the round alpha stickers yellowed with age, I stuck them onto some white cardstock colored with LSG Sprays and Magicals, and cut around them. Then I placed some old MME Enamel Dots along the scallops.
The background paper started with the grid stamped with the Vintage Background Unmounted Rubber Stamp using permanent black ink. Then I covered it with white gesso, added my Sprays and Magicals, and stamped the "berries" with Abandoned Coral Distress Ink using the dots from the Build-A-Background Rubber Stamp Set.
Along the right, I applied white gesso to a stencil, and used up some more old product with the white scallop strip. Then I stamped the flowers and leaves onto white cardstock with the Dotty Flowers Unmounted Rubber Stamp, using Abandoned Coral, Ripe Persimmon, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.
