Bingo Birthday Card

Drea here with a fun mixed media card that I made for my dad's birthday last week, using a variety of stamps from Red Rubber Designs!

The background was done with a light coat of gesso onto white cardstock, and stamped with the Bingo Pieces and Background Soup Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp Sets using a permanent black ink. Then I glued down some buttons and used a heavier coat of gesso over the entire piece. Once dry, I colored it with Distress Spray Stains, and realized a lot of my stamping had disappeared under the gesso. So I stamped the Bingo Pieces again with my permanent black ink, onto white tissue paper, and applied it to the buttons with Tim Holtz' Distress Collage Medium Vintage. Then I went over the edges and buttons with copper embossing powder.

I just used the numbers from the Bingo Card and colored them with Distress Ink. Then I embossed the edges again, along with the sentiment using the Sophisticated Sentiments Unmounted Rubber Stamp Set onto a strip of brown cardstock from the DCVW Neutrals 8 X 8 Cardstock Stack that I colored with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

The compass was paper-pieced with the Every Road Unmounted Rubber Stamp Set, embossed again in copper, including the mini brad in the center.

This card was so much fun to work on, and could be used for any occasion! Thanks for looking!
