Holiday Collage Card

Red Rubber Designs has a wonderful selection of Winter & Christmas Cling Mounted Rubber Stamps, so I combined the two for my first holiday card of the season! I started by coloring my background with some Distress Inks, flicking some white spray over it, and stamping the trees with the Mountain Scenery Unmounted Rubber Stamp onto white cardstock using Burnt Umber Palette Ink.

Then I went over the mountains and trees with a light wash of white paint, embossing the snow on top with the Speckle Background Unmounted Rubber Stamp. To stamp the script and sentiment, I used the Vintage Santa Rubber Stamp Set with Cottage Ivy Memento Ink for the script, and Moulin Rouge Palette Ink for the sentiment. Then I went around my distressed edges with some machine stitching.

The reindeer was stamped with the Holiday Collages Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp onto white cardstock using Burnt Umber Palette Ink again, and colored with Distress Inks. Using some Artist's Tape to mask around the inner image, I used the Speckle Background stamp again to emboss the snow.  Then I applied a Wink of Stella to the frame for some shimmer, added a brad to the corner, and popped it up for some dimension.

Along the right side of my card I also embossed some "snow" with the So Splattered Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp. The finishing piece was a sprig of holly, which I've had in my stash for awhile now.

I hope you're inspired to get started on your holiday cards, as stamping is such a great way to make multiple cards! Thanks for looking!

Mother and Child

Hello, friends!!  I know we still have Halloween and Thanksgiving to celebrate but as cardmakers, we know we can't wait until these celebrations are over before we start planning and creating our Christmas cards. I don't want to scare you but I have just four more scheduled Red Rubber Designs blog posts before Christmas!!  So here we go with my first Christmas card of 2016.

Today I am featuring the sweet Madonna and Child image included in the  Christmas Season Cling Mount stamp set from Red Rubber Designs.  Isn't this a precious image?  I just love that sweet kiss she is bestowing upon the Christ child.

The elegant script font of the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from
Faith Hope Love Cling Mount Rubber stamp paired beautifully with the image.

Spiders Are Seen Card

As much as I hate spiders, this is as close to them I'll get with this card featuring the Spiders Are Seen Cling Mounted Rubber Stamps from Red Rubber Designs. Perfect for Halloween, which I love! Lol!

All of the background papers were colored with Distress Inks, and all of the stamping embossed with some glitter. For more sparkle, I applied Purple Stickles onto the black, square brads that I used in the corners. Don't you just love this sentiment?

The lace was colored with some sprays and Distress Inks in black and purple. Then I used a strip of purple ribbon to divide the spider background, which I stamped twice to make it look longer than the original square stamp. The vase of spiders (Eeew!!) was colored with a purple spray, and has some sparkle with a Wink Of Stella on the swirly parts of the vase. Then I hand-stitched a circle around it, and popped it up with Pop Dots.

The vase of spiders is also available with the Be Scary Cling Mounted Rubber Stamps, along with a couple of other great Halloween images. There's also a fabulous selection of Autumn and Halloween Stamps from Red Rubber Designs!

Give Thanks

Hello, everyone!  Fall has finally arrived here in Georgia!  I was beginning to wonder there for awhile but it's finally here with cooler temps and falling leaves!

With upcoming holidays in mind, I pulled out the Give Thanks rubber stamp set from Red Rubber Designs.  I love the whimsical curling swirls on the images, so fun to create with!  For my card, I selected the cornucopia for the focal point and created a background layer with the trio of acorns stamped randomly on the base layer.

I added a touch of glam with a glittery gold circle layer to finish off my layout inspired by SC611.

Red Rubber Designs has a wide variety of Seasonal Unmounted rubber stamps and an Autumn & Halloween Cling Mount rubber stamp selection to choose from so head on over and check them out!

Here is a look at all the sweet images included in
