A Little Note of Thanks + Texture Tips

Hello, all!  Mynn here to share a patriotic themed thank you card today!  This card uses the Liberty Rubber Stamp as well as a sentiment from the Joyful Notes stamp set.  Take a peek!

I decided to add LOTS of texture on this card.  I'll list the ways I did this below, but the first thing I did was to heat emboss the Liberty image onto some patterned paper.

I added some more dimension by layering punches to add my sentiment from the Joyful Notes stamp set.  I also added more dimension by popping the sentiment piece up using dimensional foam.

More texture was added in the papers I chose.  I used some patterned paper from the Fruit Punch QwikPax as well as glitter paper.

Here's a list of all the ways I added texture to this card:

  1. I used heat embossing for my image.
  2. I stamped onto patterned paper.
  3. I sponged white ink onto the patterned paper around my image.
  4. I used textured glitter paper.
  5. I added stitched grosgrain ribbon.
  6. I layered punches.
  7. I adhered certain pieces with dimensional foam.
That's all for me today, friends!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you grab the goodies I used on my card from the Red Rubber Designs online store!  I'll be back later with more inspiration for you all.  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!
